This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient's care needs.Provides nursing care across departments that provide critical care services. Provides specialized care to patients who are severely ill or injured. May practice in an intensive care unit or in a care area that requires the expertise of the critical care nurse. Key Position Details: Critical Care Float Pool nurses float to all three ICUs: Med Surg ICU PB2000, Cardio Vascular ICU H4100 and Neuro ICU H6200 on a daily basis. After six months of employment, RN's are trained to the Emergency Department. Furthermore, there are multiple opportunities to cross-train to other areas including the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and some outpatient areas. Tier 1:6 months of RN Critical Care/ICU experience required

Pay Range Pay Range: $41.67 to $69.39 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
