Genesis10 is currently seeking a Program Manager with our fin ancial based client in their Jersey City, NJ location. This is a 4 month contract that will be extended for a 2 year project and is also a contract to hire position.

Summary:


  • Accountable for leading, developing, managing and implementing all the IT project plans for highly complex IT programs.
  • Managing the delivery of functionality, running concurrent projects utilizing shared resources, with aggressive timelines.
  • Lead, direct and oversee activities on planning, delivery and implementation to ensure enterprise-wide program strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope and budget. US IT Regulatory Risk PMO team that manages US regulator projects with specific support to 1st Line of Defense and Global Cyber Security (GCS).



Responsibilities:

  • Project Management

    • Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs.
    • Lead "end-to-end" project delivery of initiatives from initiation through to post-implementation review as required.
    • Facilitate decision making and develop risk-mitigated strategies to ensure the successful implementation of initiatives.


  • Technical Acumen

    • Familiarity with the complexity of Banking IT ecosystems and architecture.
    • A strong curiosity and desire to learn about new technology in the financial and retail banking space.


  • Change Management

    • Provide support for the transformational change management initiatives that can impact the client Channels.
    • Exhibit good regulation acumen and judgment in the formulation of recommendations to foresee and mitigate high-impact issues and complexities.


  • Business Analysis

    • Provide in-depth advice/consultation typically of a strategic, operational, or process-oriented nature to project stakeholder groups, supporting Business Requirements definition as required.


  • Relationship Management

    • Build ongoing partnerships with key partners across the business, including product, technology, marketing and operations.
    • Work closely with various teams towards a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones as required.





Requirements:

  • 10+years Regulatory Banking experience.
  • Master's degree in business administration.
  • PMP.
  • Leadership and management experience to lead large project teams.
  • High level of general management skills including, but not limited to, leading, negotiating, communicating and team building.
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management and Project Management Office methodology.
  • Proficient knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
  • Advanced business acumen.
  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills required to manage communications to all stakeholders.
  • Advanced ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Advanced user proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Vision.
  • Highly organized with superior time management skills .
  • Strong customer service orientation with good interpersonal skills .
  • Conceptual thinker, creative thinker and analytical thinker.
  • Creative problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail oriented environment.
  • Drives for results and high performance for self and team members.
