Job Description
ECU College of Health and Human Performance is currently seeking several Merchandise and Textile Lab Assistants.

Duties will include:

  • Prepare Sample Kits with Fibers, yarns, and fabric swatches.
  • Work with the textile digital Image Inventory (training to be provided)
  • Acquire samples and work with contacts/research.
  • Work with an inventory of historical garments, storage, organization, and identifying clothing/accessories from local stores.
  • Intake and process of donations/inventory.
  • Organize the store for appealing visual displays and customer ease.
  • Assist patrons in meeting varying needs and appropriate merchandise selection.
  • Organize the textile lab or retail space
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)

  • Ability to handle small equipment
  • Organizations skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Adaptable to changes in the learning environment
