Facility Planner and Project Manager

The Opportunity:

As a facilities manager, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a project. As an experienced facilities professional at Booz Allen, you can use your client engagement skills to impact projects that will improve posture and client readiness. We need someone like you who is eager to work on complex projects that'll protect our military.

On our team, you'll manage challenging projects for sensitive missions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you'll oversee a team to develop creative solutions on mission-critical projects in the Department of Defense.

In this role, you'll closely impact posture planningby cradle to grave project oversight for the U.S. Marine Corps. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You'll Work On:

  • Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in Department of Defense.
  • Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for facility planning and site development.
  • Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization. Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility.
  • Advise Marine Corps clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements. Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with cradle to grave project oversight including initial planning through execution, and day-to-day facilities planning support and consultation
  • Experience providing technical services and engineering support, including installations master planning, facility planning and site development, construction engineering and management oversight, annual repair, and maintenance project execution oversight and management
  • Experience developing, reviewing, analyzing, and updating Basic Facility Requirements (BFR), DD Form 1391s, and planning documents
  • Knowledge of facilities and military construction (MILCON) laws, policies, procedures, and restrictions for international, Government of Japan, and U.S. agencies including the DoD
  • Ability to employanalysis tools such as Geographic Information Systems to develop and evaluate solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Community Planning

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding master planning, real estate planning, facility planning, design, and construction, infrastructure planning, design, and construction, environmental assessments, collateral equipment identification, validation, and procurement support, and scheduling issues
  • Knowledge of international agreements, Inter Service Support Agreements (ISSAs), Safety/Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), physical and information security, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), real estate and acquisition strategy
  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
