We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the Americas Project & Development Services (PDS) Finance team in Chicago, IL (hybrid work). As part of the finance business partnering team, we provide data, insights & reporting to support business leaders with business planning and decision making to drive both revenue and bottom-line margin growth.
Our ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, solid technical finance & reporting acumen, great attention to detail, drive for process improvement and problem solving, and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for a self-starter who is interested in growing in their finance career and building a partnership with the business and operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide data, insights & reporting to help business planning and decision making, including identifying drivers that move margins through value-added reporting & analysis Lead development of financial plan and rolling forecasts including coordination with business partners and local finance team inputs Produce sales pipeline analysis & conversion metrics to enable accurate revenue forecasting Demonstrate high level of customer service with business leadership and local finance teams Develop monthly financial packages and performance metrics for PDS and Work Dynamic leadership including trends, business drivers, variance analysis, and updated outlook Drive improvements and enhancements in reporting, analytics, and dashboards to support business leadership decision making and implement best practices related to various ad hoc analyses Lead finance business partner for a few PDS National service line P&Ls Individual contributor role with opportunity for advancement and professional development EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA is a plus Minimum 6-8 years of related experience; FP&A experience is a plus A highly motivated self-starter who works well independently and is a strong team player Demonstrated technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Experience with PeopleSoft, Tableau, IBM Planning & Analytics, and Oracle EPM is a plus Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail Strong written and oral communication required including presentations for internal business leads Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment Location: Hybrid -Chicago, IL |
