Department Information
Scheller College of Business undergraduate program ranked top 20 in the nation for a third year in a row (U.S. News & World Report). The Evening MBA program was recognized as No. 1 in the state (U.S. News & World Report), and the Jones MBA Career Center remained top five in the world for the sixth year in a row (The Financial Times). In addition, Scheller's undergraduate and MBA specialties in business analytics, information systems, operations, and supply chain were ranked top 10 in the nation (U.S. News & World Report).

Job Summary

This position will provide leadership for the graduate Career Center within an academic or business unit. The position provides leadership for enabling graduate student employment in summer internships and permanent employment as well as fostering continued and expanding relationships with employers. Responsible for setting employee and/or group goals, deciding on organizational structure to meet the goals, assessing employee and/or group performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Unit leadership, faculty, students, alumni, and external stakeholders. This position typically will advise and counsel: Staff.This position will supervise: Assigned staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Develop the vision, strategy, and goals for the graduate Career Center within an academic or business unit.

Job Duty 2 -
Collaborate and implement a strategy to expand and enrich assigned programs.

Job Duty 3 -
Partner with other leaders to introduce new programs and modalities (for example, online).

Job Duty 4 -
Develop and direct outreach activities for the employment of graduate students.

Job Duty 5 -
Engage with employers to develop and maintain strong relationships to expand internship and employment opportunities for graduate students within the academic or business unit.

Job Duty 6 -
Develop and offer programs and services to strengthen student acculturation, communication skills, and acclimation to job search in the U.S.

Job Duty 7 -
Responsible for the graduate Career Center budget within an academic or business unit.

Job Duty 8 -
Oversee student employment data collection and submission for participation in ranking surveys as required.

Job Duty 9 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Experience
Ten or more years of job-related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Ability to navigate complex organization management experience

KNOWLEDGE
o Knowledge of the graduate admissions process
o Knowledge of leading/managing leadership development programs
o Knowledge of corporate environments and functions, including how to navigate and contact
potential employment partners

SKILLS
o Skills in marketing, management, organization, leadership, customer service, and budget
administration
o Extensive leadership skills in business, development, communication, and decision-making
o Leadership skills in introducing new programs

Salary range: $127,257.00 - $173,068.00
