Neuro-Oncologist

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center are seeking a Neuro-Oncologist at the associate professor level. Candidates for this position should have five or more years of full-time experience in related scientific research; have significant teaching experience; and demonstrate the capacity for sustained, impactful, and independent scholarly contributions and leadership.

Candidate must successful graduated from an oncology or neurology residency training program, completed a fellowship in neuro-oncologist, and demonstrated excellence in training activities. Responsibilities include outpatient care, an interest in clinical and/or bench research, and teaching and supervision of residents and medical students. The position will serve patients at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and other locations as determined by the Chairman and Division Chief.

Candidates must be qualified for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and meet the requirements necessary for a faculty position at the University of Pittsburgh. Candidates should have a medical degree - MD, DO, or foreign equivalent, and be Board Certified or board eligible in neuro-oncology fellowship training or its foreign equivalent.
