DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this internship role, you will support team members with a range of activities related to the design, evaluation, supervision, and administration of environmental engineering projects. You will acquire knowledge and insights into the fundamental principles and methodologies of environmental engineering design and construction. This experience will encompass familiarization with the daily responsibilities and operations linked to engineering design projects situated on lands managed by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

- Full-time internship that will run from 5/1/2025 through 8/29/2025.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch
- The hourly rate is determined by the number of credits the applicant possesses:
- Less than 90 credits in an engineering major - $20.76
- Over 90 credits in an engineering major - $21.64
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, on a schedule that aligns with their supervisor so they are in the office on the same days. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Internship Requirements:
- Current full-time enrollment in a two-year degree, bachelor's degree or advanced degree program in one of the following majors:
- Environmental Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Biological Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering
- An approved major course of at an accredited college or university.
- Freshman year completed
- Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)
- Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
