Overview

As Non-Financial Risk Portfolio Manager you will be working directly with the Head of Non-Financial Risk Management in the Americas: you will help prepare and/or review materials for senior meetings on non-financial risks, for example on Information Security, Information Technology, Data, Records, Transaction Processing and ensure clarity of messaging and actionability of proposals. You will perform ad hoc in depth analysis on selected non-financial risk management issues and follow up on questions with a broad variety of stakeholders across different function of the Bank. You will draft impactful and actionable comments on arising issues. You will also propose and coordinate ad hoc projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the function.

What You'll Do

  • Attend management team meetings, pick up cross team topics which require further analysis for committees, councils and fora in the area of Non-Financial Risk Management

  • Review and quality assure materials submitted to the Head of Non-Financial Risk Management: check for clarity of message and consistency of data

  • Deploy analytical skills to improve actionability, specificity of Non-Financial Risk materials; work with content producers to drive high quality of materials

  • Propose and drive projects to improve processes within the function

Skills You'll Need

  • i.e. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Information Technology

  • Experience in Banking/Financial Markets

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience in producing high quality materials for senior audience

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Analytical skills: ability to quickly analyze an issue, gather data from different sources, identify a root cause, propose next steps

  • Attention to detail; accuracy

  • Ability to work on diverse topics, prioritize well

  • Keen interest in non-financial risks such as information security, information technology, data, artificial intelligence

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000.00 to $142,250.00.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
