The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Associate Dean of First-Generation and Academic Success Programs, the Advising Dean in the James H. and Christine Turk Berick Center for Student Advising is responsible for advising undergraduate students across all class years in Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. Primary responsibilities include student advising, making connections for advisees to other campus-based advising services (resource referral), supporting the Center's programming and operational efforts, and overseeing the academic progress of advisees. This Advising Dean will help lead programming and advising activities with first-generation college students while assuming an average advising load.
