Solid Waste Designer

As a Civil Designer at Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC), you will play a key role in supporting both civil and environmental engineering projects. Working closely with project managers, you will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design tools to design and produce a wide range of project deliverables. You will also be responsible for generating digital terrain models, calculating quantities for construction estimates, calculating earthwork volumes, and reviewing designs to ensure compliance with project specifications, CEC standards, and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in landfill design, civil site design, and advanced proficiency in Civil 3D. You will also be expected to provide design optimization and value suggestions, manage the production of drawing sets, and ensure that all CAD project deliverables meet our quality standards.

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on Civil 3D.
• Experience in landfill and site development projects.
• Strong understanding of digital terrain modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience with preparing construction documents.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for civil design.
