Job Summary

Our IT leadership team at West Bend Insurance Company is looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Personal Lines IT team. As a Delivery manager you will lead a software engineering team that is responsible for the systems and applications that enable West Bend to sell personal lines insurance. You will coach and align associates' career plans to help achieve their goals and grow their talents. You will partner with Product Owners to align the team with division and company goals and create feedback loops to measure the progress towards those goals. The experience you bring building reliable and resilient systems along with your dedication to continuous improvement and learning drives the team to delivering value sooner and safer.



Responsibilities & Qualifications

*This is a hybrid role, onsite 2-3X/week, in our Madison or West Bend, WI Office*

* Builds highly effective teams, sets clear expectations, monitors progress and provides feedback to team members.
* Establishes team objectives, tracks and reports progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Promotes continuous improvement, while ensuring team processes conform to departmental policies, standards and best practices.
* Actively demonstrates emotional intelligence. Builds strong relationships with associates and vendor partners. Can effectively maneuver through moderate organizational conflict with diplomacy and authenticity.
* Contributes to team strategic planning, goal setting, capital planning, budgeting, vendor partner selection, and contract negotiation activities.

Preferred Experience and Skills
* 6 years of IT experience, including prior management experience.

* Written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Education and Training
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
