Job Posting: Calibration Technician I

Location: Raleigh, NC
Travel: Up to 50% as required

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, eager-to-learn Calibration Technician I to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of calibration and instrumentation. The Technician I will support calibration, qualification, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks under supervision while adhering to PCI and client-specific policies and procedures. The role involves travel to client sites and requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with supervision, following accurate GxP documentation.
  • Conduct basic pressure, temperature, humidity, time, and CO2 calibrations.
  • Ensure safe handling and maintenance of PCI and client-owned equipment.
  • Identify project supply needs and communicate to appropriate resources.
  • Provide excellent customer service to develop client relationships.
  • Maintain a neat and professional work area and complete timesheets and expense reports accurately.
  • Travel to client sites for calibration and maintenance activities as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of calibration concepts, test accuracy, and safety requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic calibration tasks on mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy equipment and work in varying environments.

Education & Experience:

  • A two-year degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration.
