ABOUT THE JOB

Managing current accounts while developing new prospects to increase sales and profits. Responsible for driving sales growth efforts through product and customer knowledge to identify opportunities to grow current product lines and add new product lines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Growth




  • Grow margin in existing territory
  • Gaining new accounts
  • Gaining new products at existing accounts
  • Focus on in depth selling
  • Negotiate contracts/pricing with customers



Account Management




  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Maintaining pricing
  • Engage with customers to understand their project requirements and allow our team to deliver solutions that will exceed expectations
  • Design/structure and deliver effective customer proposals



Customer Service




  • Provide technical support for customers
  • Work cross functionally to drive sales initiatives
  • Identify key decision makers and cultivate relationships to ensure satisfaction and confidence in Hawkins products and services


ABOUT YOU



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of experience in chemical, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, or sales
  • Strong presentation, oral, and written communications skills
  • Strong personal skills needed to interact with customers all departments within company
  • Ability to identify key personnel within accounts to further selling cycle
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to gain supplier and customer's trust and build strong relationships
  • Driver's license in good standing
