About the Role

The Marketing & Communications Specialist reports to the Marketing Leadership at ACRT Services. This position will play a key role in coordinating and implementing marketing and communication projects across the organization. This position requires a high degree of organization and excellent attention to detail.

What You'll Do

Support Marketing & Communications Team

  • Support the planning and execution of trade shows, special events, and conferences for showcasing ACRT Services' brand of companies
  • Creates and makes recommendations to consistent themes, messaging, and branding in all communication touch points
  • Supports and plays a role in improving the organization's advertising and social media marketing initiatives
  • Sources and develops content and visual collateral for campaigns

Project Development

  • Tracks projects and prepares status reports for internal and external personnel
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original marketing content
  • Identify customers' and organizational needs and gaps in content and recommend new topics
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote ACRT Services' brand of companies
  • Proficient in leveraging a range of marketing software tools, including but not limited to HubSpot, Basecamp, and other related platforms.

Team Collaboration

  • Acts as a liaison for media, vendors, and internal sales and products teams
  • Proofread and edit articles for errors or inconsistencies before publication
  • Editing and improving existing content
  • Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to illustrate articles and ensure all-around consistencies
  • Must be available for team collaboration and communication during standard workday hours to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Perform other duties as necessary for the team

About You

Must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field

  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a marketing position

Nice to haves:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing

  • Experience: 3 or more years of experience in a marketing position or as a marketing and communications specialist

Your Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and work independently as well as a team

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with senior management

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to exercise good judgement to make good business decisions

  • HubSpot, Basecamp, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Teams

Where We Work

At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a remote hybrid role, meaning employees will be required to come into the Stow, Ohio office on a weekly or as needed basis.

Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home - a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company's Stow, Ohio office.
