Duties & Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on farming machinery such as tractors, plows, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other mechanical equipment.

Equipment Operation: Operate and test machinery after repairs to ensure it functions correctly.

Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools to identify issues with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Preventative Care: Conduct preventive maintenance checks to reduce machinery breakdowns during critical harvest periods.

Fabrication and Customization: Modify and fabricate parts as needed for specific agricultural tasks.

The employee will be
performing detailed diagnostics on machinery and troubleshoot problems
using tools and technology.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge in
    maintenance and repairs on farming equipment and farming vehicles.
  • Knowledge working with
    diesel-powered agricultural equipment, which is common in the
    industry.
  • Ability to work in
    physically demanding conditions, often outdoors, and under varying
    weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDL license preferred, but not required.
