Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Be a key individual contributor to Quality Assurance (QA) project teams Work with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed Conduct end-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure that business, technical, functional requirements are being met Design and Execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production Assist with data management Responsible for ensuring on time completion of all required testing deliverable Responsible to expose and mitigate operational risk relative to the execution of the system test plans Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple competing priorities Use time management skills to drive multiple project deliverables within a fast paced environment Provide verbal and written executive status updates to key stakeholders Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and colleagues Manage all risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action when any risks become unacceptable Plan, arrange and facilitate meetings, workgroups, and communications with stakeholders during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities Requirements: QA background with strong analytical skills 3+ years' experience with Agile Testing Process 1+ years' experience in Framework Creation Exposure 3+ years' experience in Front End Automation 3+ years' experience in Automation Process Proficient in Java Experience with Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) to manage testing and test reporting Experience with JIRA Experience testing within an Agile development lifecycle Experience with Agile Central (Rally) Experience in testing backend services, integrations with upstream / downstream systems SME expertise in Web service testing Strong understanding of XML schema, tools that support testing web service interface, JSON SME SQL skills including complex query writing Able to review schemas to gain understanding of Db structure Able to use variety of SQL tools to accomplish required testing Able to work in a fast-paced environment to drive Quality goals while meeting aggressive delivery deadlines Knowledgeable on the principles of test management and testing process Excellent communication skills, written and oral Automation skills requiring using automation tools beyond recording features TOSCA and /or Selenium advanced coding methods Able to decompose requirements into testable cases covering positive, negative, variety of data scenarios Desired skills: Development / automation coding expertise with demonstration of technical skills Pay Range: $50.42 - $58.42 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
