The Office of Diversity, Equity and Engagement at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science in collaboration with the National Science Foundation's (NSF) SpectrumX Center seeks to hire an Outreach and Special Projects Coordinator to lead, organize and coordinate engagement with a variety of community partners including elementary, middle, and high schools, Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs), and community partners. These collaborations will include co-developing programming, proposals, generating budgets and designing program assessments. The STEM Outreach and Special Projects Coordinator will work directly with the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and should be adaptable to arising needs and have the capacity to learn on the job.
