We are seeking a skilled and versatile General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential issues. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Install, maintain, and repair various types of machinery and equipment. Perform basic carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks. Properly use our CMMS system to track work orders. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or relevant apprenticeship preferred 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions #BEjobs | |
