Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Women's Hospital is a 53-bed advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center and the first robotic surgery program in the state recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff.
  • Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff.
  • Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non-routine treatments of patients.
  • Performs facility-specific specialty procedures as required.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise:
  • One year of critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting
  • Current NM Respiratory Care License
  • BLS
  • ACLS or National Specialty Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Certification in clinical specialty.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.
  • AARC Membership; National Specialty Certification.
