2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 1:30 pm - 12:00 am

Pay Starting at $18.50/hr. Depending on Experience + 10% Shift Premium

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. Assignments may change based on business demands.

You must have desired technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to interpret instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision.

Responsibilities:


  • Read and interpret documentation including bill of materials, COC and drawings



  • Compare Bill of Material and shortage sheets to prepare for assembly process.



  • Prep all heatless and capital dryers and filters including piping, lead checking, and building filter package assemblies. Label the dryer assembly.



  • Produce quality product within the approved time standards to meet efficiency and productivity goals.



  • Limited low-voltage wiring on specified dryers.



  • Basic to advance shop math including conversion of fractions and decimals and reading and interpreting a tape measure.



  • Machines and tools used include the following: Small hand tools, air, electric and pneumatic tools, pipe threader, overhead crane, jib crane, assembly fixtures, grinder, pipe cutter, drill motor, tape measure, tubing bender.




Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED



  • 1+ years of experience reading and follow blueprints and manufacturing procedures.



  • 1+ years of experience operating hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.



  • Ability to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job; including, but not limited to, power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices.



  • Ability to identify routine problem causation, and correct routine problems, and willingness to learn.



  • Broad working knowledge and experience with standard work instructions.



  • Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others.



  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.



  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment





Preferences:


  • Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.



  • Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain general understanding of business process.



  • Familiar with and can utilize power tools.



  • Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
