Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst supports Nestle's North American treasury activities related to intercompany loans, capital markets, capital structure management, foreign exchange, cash management and initiatives to leverage treasury technology solutions to optimize automation, enhance controls and support Nestle USA's growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the treasury manager on corporate finance activities, including debt and commercial paper issuance, letters of credit, operational due diligence and post-acquisition treasury integration
  • Collaborate on intercompany loan portfolio management, including loans, IHBs, dividends and capital contributions; support the execution of intergroup funding and repatriation solutions
  • Support capital structure reviews and restructurings, including analysis of financial models and information, to formulate recommendations and communicate results
  • Partner across organizations and cross-functional teams to implement strategic and operational improvements to support business growth and enhance internal controls
  • Support the FX, merchant services and supply chain finance initiatives as needed
  • Identify emerging technologies and process automation (FinTech) that can be leveraged to address business needs, drive process improvements and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures, including audit and regulatory requirements
  • Support cash forecast project

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business, economics or related field
  • CTP preferred
  • 3 years of business experience in treasury, corporate finance, accounting or a related area
  • Understanding of the financial and capital markets with knowledge of financial valuation
  • Proven experience in analyzing, building and maintaining financial models and reporting financial performance
  • Experience with treasury management systems, ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Bloomberg
  • Knowledge of US and international corporate banking services, cash management, payment processing and networks
  • Ability to leverage systems or technology to automate processes with strong capabilities in Microsoft Office, Power BI or other data analytics software

  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
  • Good oral & written communication skills; able to interface with internal & external business partners
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and reliability with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Balances being self-driven and proactive with a collaborative and team-oriented approach to problem solving
