We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team. This role will be integral to ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our clients' network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in implementing and managing advanced security solutions, including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Zero-Trust Architecture, Python scripting for automation, and SPLUNK for security monitoring and analytics. Key Responsibilities * Network Security Design & Implementation: o Architect and implement secure network solutions aligned with Zero-Trust principles. o Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco ISE to enforce access control policies and ensure secure network access. * Monitoring & Incident Response: o Utilize SPLUNK to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats. o Develop dashboards, alerts, and reports to support continuous monitoring and threat detection. * Automation & Optimization: o Use Python to automate routine network and security tasks, enhancing efficiency and reliability. o Develop scripts for log analysis, network troubleshooting, and system integration. * Risk Assessment & Compliance: o Conduct network vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. o Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. * Collaboration & Mentorship: o Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security measures. o Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications * Technical Expertise: o In-depth knowledge of Cisco ISE and its role in network access control and authentication. o Strong understanding of Zero-Trust Architecture principles and implementation. o Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. o Experience with SPLUNK for security information and event management (SIEM). * Network Security Knowledge: o Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security. o Familiarity with networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP. * Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: o Ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues and recommend effective solutions. o Strong analytical skills to interpret data from multiple sources and identify trends. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
