Responsibilities

Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. The two companies are developing an inpatient behavioral health facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The goal for this facility will be to launch a new 24 bed program at the current Altru facility to accommodate both adult and pediatric patients with an additional 24 bed expansion planned for 2026. Our newly renovated 24-bed facility is set to open in January, 2025 and will feature an intake department for walk-ins.

The Intake Services Manager will oversee the daily operational functions of Intake Team. These functions include scheduling, managing of Intake issues and delegating of responsibility to staff. Ensures that all intake staff receive general and department specific training. They will conduct assessments to determine the disposition that best addresses a patient's needs. The Intake Services Manager will provide clinical interventions which best support the patient's stabilization and resolution of the crisis or problem. They will work with referral sources to facilitate admissions to the behavioral health unit(s) of the facility.

Qualifications

Masters degree in a behavioral health related field required. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience working within an Admissions department (psychiatric inpatient facility preferred). Previous leadership experience required.
