Canyon Ridge Hospital is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Nurse Manager (RN) to join our team.

Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults.

We believe in an individualized, patient-focused approach to diagnosis and treatment. For some, anxiety or drug dependence looks different from others with the same diagnoses, and in some cases, behavioral health and substance use disorders occur simultaneously. In these cases of dual diagnosis, we treat the patients in the best way possible given their specific needs.

The Nurse Manager is a registered professional nurse who oversees the unit nursing staff including RN's, LVN's, LPT's and Mental Health Workers. The Nurse Manager assists the CNO by maintaing high levels of patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. Must be a veteran or have military status

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Licensure: Currently licensed Registered Nurse to practice by the California State Board of Nursing
  • Veteran status or Active Duty Military perferred
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years experience in pychiatric nursing and nursing administration and or managment preferred.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Successful completion of training in Management of Aggressive Behavior (CPI) within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
