At Airgas, we're looking for a Branch Manager who will take ownership of branch operations, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about leading people, delivering top-notch service, and achieving business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Lead and Inspire:
- Mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to help employees excel.

Drive Sales Excellence:
- Support outside sales teams by preparing quotes, maintaining product knowledge, and providing exceptional customer follow-up.
- Identify and penetrate target accounts while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers.

Ensure Operational Success:
- Develop and monitor branch budgets, ensuring fiscal performance aligns with company goals.
- Manage inventory, accounts receivable, and operational expenses efficiently.
- Oversee customer service to ensure every interaction exceeds expectations.

Champion Safety:
- Promote and enforce safety practices, lead safety meetings, and ensure a safe working environment for your team.

Deliver Results:
- Use market insights and competitor data to forecast sales and set strategies.
- Drive gross margin and net income goals by managing pricing, costs, and resources effectively.

Experience:
- 5+ years in sales or the welding industry (preferably both).
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing teams and resolving personnel issues.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage diverse teams and deliver results.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to analyze financial reports and translate them into actionable plans.

  • Knowledge of SAP and proficiency in MS Office are a plus.

  • A customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency to solve problems and deliver results.

  • A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Willingness to continuously improve skills and techniques through training.
