Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Receptionist at their corporate office in St. Louis, Missouri. The primary responsibilities include:

    Administers all incoming calls in a professional manner; ensures phone calls are redirected accordingly. Provides coverage within the Executive call group as needed
  • Directs summons, subpoenas, and garnishments to the appropriate personnel
  • Greets and directs guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.
  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information
  • Coordinates the delivery of express mail services (FedEx, etc.) to include contacting the various departments for incoming package pickup
  • Completes employment and salary verifications for site employees and Independent Contractors
  • Orders field staff name badges, tracks order fulfillment, and mails completed badges to field staff
  • Works with designated TeamHealth Service Field Technician to distribute equipment and troubleshoot issues at St. Louis office
  • Assists with shipments for Marketing Department for trade shows and job fairs
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties and other related duties, as needed and assigned

Job Requirements:

The Position will have the following requirements:

  • Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificate
  • Must have one (1) year experience on a multi-line switchboard
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation software (to include spreadsheets, databases, slides, tables, graphs, and organizational charts)
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines
  • Must be procedure and detail oriented, utilize excellent follow up skills, and strive for 100% accuracy
  • Familiarity with modern office equipment, e.g. facsimile, copier, FedEx machine, telephones, etc.
