Medical Receptionist - Ambulatory Baltimore, MD Pay From: $20 Per Hour MUST: 3+ years of experience in a multi-physician specialty practice Checking patients in and out Experience pre-authorizing procedures and handling pre-certs Ability to process referrals Verifying insurance Ability to assist with inquiries Must have strong-EMR experience Strong scheduling experience Must be able to work in a fast paced environment DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following: Answer phone calls Respond to inquiries Obtain pre-authorizations and pre-certs on various procedures Schedule appointments Respond to inquiries Process referrals Check patients in and out Forward calls to appropriate contact Enter patient information into EMR Provide customer service Assist patients as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
