Overview Senior Civil Engineer - Roundabouts Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer specializing in roundabouts and roadway design. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the planning, design, and construction of roundabouts, with a strong understanding of traffic flow management, safety considerations, and environmental factors. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead and manage projects from conception through to completion, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of diverse roadway design projects. Duties and Responsibilities Work as a senior member of our roadway design team under the direction of various Project Managers. Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Lead the design of roundabouts, intersections and roadways for various transportation projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national standards (such as WisDOT, AASHTO and MUTCD)
Required Skills
Required Experience (Text Only) - BS in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in WI (or capable of obtaining within 6 months) - 8+ years of progressive experience in roadway design - Wisconsin DOT Level 1 or higher Qualified Roundabout Designer certificate About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
