Duties & Responsibilities

On behalf of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, act as primary initiator and processor of pre-award support functions including. This includes liaising with Principle Investigators to create project budgets, assemble and submit UAR's, assist or solely assume responsibility for submission in various grant portals, and assisting with Graduate and Fellowship project submissions.

Assisting PI's in creation of budget and other business-related elements of grant proposal, using approved grant templates and documentation. Preparing, processing, and submitting UAR's either on behalf of or in conjunction with PI's, including Graduates. Submitting proposals in some external grant sponsor portals on behalf of or in conjunction with PI's, including Graduates. Act as a beginning-to-end pre-award support resource for all of SBSC.

Working in conjunction with UA Sponsored Projects and Financial Services Office to properly submit proposals and see submissions through to completion.

Work in conjunction with SBS business centers and personnel to manage grant submissions to assure timely and accurate submission, as well as high levels of customer service to PI's.

Financial administrative duties as they pertain to grant and other operations in the college, including liaising with SBS business units and the Dean's Business Team to determine areas of greatest need.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
