Vaco is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Interim AP & Credit Review Specialist to join a client's team for a 3 to 6-month engagement. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of accounts payable processes and vendor credit agreements. Scope of Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Review:
    • Review batches of AP invoices processed by AP clerks for accuracy and completeness.
    • Verify invoices against contracts and ensure all required documentation is included.
    • Pass approved invoices to treasury for payment.
    • Communicate with vendors to gather missing information or resolve discrepancies.
  • Credit Agreement Management:
    • Track vendor credit letters, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
    • Monitor end dates and proactively communicate about renewals to ensure continuity.
    • Maintain up-to-date records in the company's cloud-based systems. Candidate Must-Haves
      1. AP Expertise:
        • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable processes.
        • Attention to Detail:
          • Exceptional ability to review complex invoices and contracts with a paralegal-like approach.
          • Technical Proficiency:
            • Experience with cloud-based file systems, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
            • Availability:
              • Must be able to work onsite.
              Candidate Preferences
              1. Industry Experience:
                • Background in the construction industry.
                • Software Skills:
                  • Familiarity with Oracle systems.
