DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will assist in analyzing and evaluating agency programs and projects to assess the achievement of their goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of solutions and recommendations for program or policy modifications, as well as evaluating the impact of these changes on overall efficiency and effectiveness. You will contribute to enhancing the programs and strategic focus areas of the Department of Transportation. You will play a key role in leading project teams to analyze programs, identify issues, and propose opportunities for improvement. This includes developing strategies to secure approval for recommendations; creating actionable plans for implementation; and providing project management support to various functional teams. Additionally, you will conduct studies to guide decisions regarding PennDOT policy adjustments; gather and analyze relevant data; formulate conclusions and recommendations; and prepare comprehensive reports. Your efforts will also support the department's strategic planning initiatives, collaborating with a team to align executives with core departmental values and produce public-facing documentation for the department's website.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule (AWS).
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of paraprofessional analytical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
