Description

The John Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Temporary Teaching Assistant.

This position will assist with grading assignments and exams for TUFE Program. The ideal candidate will work closely with faculty to ensure accurate and timely evaluation of student work.

What You'll Do:



  • Accurately grade assignments and exams based on provided rubrics and guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information and grades.
  • Communicate with faculty to clarify grading criteria as needed.
  • Meet deadlines for returning graded materials.


Pay Grade: 16

Length of Assignment: Approximately 1 month

Work Hours: 20 hours per week

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written communication and analytical abilities.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous experience with grading or teaching assistance.
