We need someone who will be responsible for searching out, understanding and verbally articulating the detailed analysis of requests for proposals/information/questions and other documents from contracting office or other entities. In the role of Proposal Manager - Public Sector, you'll be responsible for managing all proposal activities including daily operations of proposal development and proposal efforts. * Responsible for searching out, understanding and verbally articulating the detailed analysis of requests for proposals/information/questions and other documents from contracting office or other entities.
* Collaborates with management, subject matter experts and other staff to develop a high quality, winning proposal. * Established teams across organization to pursue and win new strategic opportunities. * Facilitates the development of win themes and proposal strategy. * Supports solution meetings and team reviews. * Facilitates cross functional teams to develop solution(s) that meets requirements of the RFP. * Develops and maintains proposal schedule (including the review and production phases), plans, outlines, assignments, baselines and storyboards. * Conducts research and analyzes historical data to support proposal efforts * Establishes relationships with key corporate and internal partners. * Coordinate with the Capture and BD Managers to determine Win and Pricing strategies * Established and executes a repeatable process from capture management to proposal delivery. * May manage, directly or indirectly, staff or team members involved in proposal management. * Other duties may be assigned. Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
* 5 years successful proposal writing/proposal management and/or marketing experience; one of the 5 years in a managerial role * Preferred certifications: PMP, APMP * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong leadership, analytical and critical thinking skills. * Ability to follow group strategies/goals from concept to actionable business plans. * Ability to take ownership for complete capture management process. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Ability to train and mentor others on proposal skills. * Ability to develop and deliver successful proposals. * Ability to lead and direct others. Machines and Equipment:
The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copiers and fax machines.
Physical Activity:
* The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position is sedentary in nature with minimal lifting requirements.
Working Conditions:
The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.
* Remote Eligibility: This position is Ad-hoc remote eligible. Eligibility is determined by Management or Talent Operations.
U.S. Citizenship is Required for All Positions and Work on All Positions Must Be Completed in the Continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
