Assistant Vice President Perioperative and Perinatal Services

Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Vice President Perioperative and Perinatal Services for RWJ Somerset Medical Center.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing required.
• Current New Jersey RN Licensure
• BLS required. (American Heart Association)
• A minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required
• Additional clinical or leadership experience in perinatal care is preferred
• Certification: National certification in an applicable clinical specialty is required

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time 40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

• Staff includes Directors, RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries.
• AVP will oversee the staffing, budget & quality measures
• An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ Somerset
• Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care

This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
