Job Summary As the Catering Manager for a premier corporate client in Hudson Yards, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful operations of all catering services. Outstanding hospitality and a desire to learn and grow with the company are essential to success in this role! This position is generally Monday through Friday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and execute catered services/ events Works closely with the kitchen and culinary staff to create menus and provide outstanding service to a diverse group of guests Directly manage hourly/ temp staff. Communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels; maintains excellent client relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: 3 years of food service experience including 1 year of leadership experience. Catering experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations. Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Proficient computer and communication skills.
