Reports To: AVP of Luxe Operations HR

What You Will Learn:

Provide Human Resources directives and support to the L'Oreal organization with a focus on professional recruitment, headcount planning, labor relations, employee engagement, talent management, employee relations and operations support. Participate within various Manufacturing projects; work efficiently and respond to changing needs and organizational objectives.

  • Recruit for key, senior open positions for the L'Oreal organization. Direct staff in recruitment of all other positions;
  • Manage headcount requirements to support growth of the business, lead organizational design and process improvement opportunities;
  • Manage compensation system and other reward systems and make recommendations for continued improvement;
  • Manage performance management process that improves the contribution of individuals and teams to greater business performance;
  • Manage employee relations including coaching, progressive discipline and interpretation of HR policies;
  • Lead labor relations for the site and ensure that the Collective Bargaining Agreement is adhered to; follow the grievance process when handling employee relations issues concerning the union population;
  • Provide leadership for training strategies and activities to build organizational effectiveness;
  • Provide leadership and support to Operations team to build an organization motivated to achieve operational goals and focused on process improvement.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven human resources experience required.
  • Relevant labor relations experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Must demonstrate strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
  • Knowledge and working understanding of compensation, EEO, HR policies, laws, and union contracts, and contract negotiations.
  • Strong technical skills including MS Office, HRIS and ATS.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; requires discretion, sound judgment, and a strong service orientation, with a high level of flexibility and responsiveness required.
  • Well-developed interpersonal & communications skills to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Must display a high degree of sensitivity in dealing with employees' work-related concerns and problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and/or PHR/SPHR certifications are preferred
