Skin Better Science:

In 2016, skinbetter science set out to create a new paradigm in skincare, not only for patients, but for the physicians, nurses, aestheticians and surgeons who help patients achieve beautiful skin. Our award-winning products are backed by a diverse team with decades of experience in clinical research and development (in powerhouse products like Restylane and Dysport) and furthered by a continued commitment to the study of skincare science and the introduction of new technologies.

In 2022 L'Oreal acquired Skin Better Science where it joined the dynamic LDB Division.

Who we are looking for:

Responsible for building medical authority of Skinbetter Science across new markets with derm centricity. Develop clinical & proof of efficacy road map in partnership with Skinbetter VP of Clinicals, Medical & Scientific Affaire, R&I and local markets. Build scientific communication to raise scientific superiority and drive visible innovation for the roll-out of Skinbetter Science brand worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build medical authority for new markets, leveraging derm aesthetic insights.
    • Build a board of worldwide KOLs for consultation and co-construction to create & validate clinical study adaptation, valorization of science & new proof of efficacy.
    • In collaboration with markets collect relevant local derm & aesthetic insights to fuel innovation and pillar to be derm-centric and local relevant, this with strong focus on China.
    • Support & represent the Skinbetter Science brand in KOL advisory boards and local market events.
  • Build and manage the scientific & adaptation of clinical plan for the international brand expansion.
    • Transform the insights into concrete strategic plan of visible innovation, clinicals studies and publication. This is in line with brand medical equity and in collaboration with Skinbetter VP of Clinicals, Medical & Scientific Affaire, R&I and local markets.
    • Identify new claims / medical insights & story telling supported by superior proofs of efficacy.
    • Manage logistics of all clinical, cohort and observational studies liaising with related KOLs, CROs, R&I and Evaluation Teams & ensure publication and posters.
    • Support & validate local studies if market customization needs,
  • Develop related scientific communications & content.
    • Transform the generated science & proof of efficacy into medical visual aids & digital medical content
    • Provide guidance to markets on developing and implementing a scientific communication strategy.
    • Partner with DMI Marketing to provide related scientific support to move the brand forward into realms of new scientific innovation, new consumers claim, new proof of efficacy, new testing methods.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials required (MD, PhD, PharmD, and/or scientific background/experience with preference for skin/dermatology background)
  • Minimum of 3 years post professional degree practice or relevant transferable experience (clinical practice, clinical or scientific training, academic research, and regulatory/scientific).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a medical organization with preference for dermatology
  • Experience in Medical/Cosmetic Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Cellular Biology, and/or Facial Aesthetic disciplines strongly desired.
  • Ability to develop and build strong collaboration in cross-functional and cross-cultural environment.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with physicians and other Healthcare Professionals
  • Business mindset with market & customer centric approach
  • Ability to think creatively and conceptually.
  • Ability to develop and execute key strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, presentation skills and problem resolution skills
  • Experience performing research and/or analyzing clinical research data.

What We Offer

  • Salary Range: $150,000 - $213,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)
