Process and Equipment Technicician

• Come join our team! We currently have an exciting Permanent (Direct Hire) 3rd shift opportunity in Cockeysville, MD for a Process and Equipment Technician with 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience including repair and maintenance of PLCs.

• We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process and Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team.
• In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our production processes and equipment.
• As a Process and Equipment Technician, you will apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize various machinery and systems essential for our operations.
• You will collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and safely.
• Your hands-on experience with process equipment will enable you to implement preventative maintenance strategies and respond to unexpected machine failures promptly.
• This position requires a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on all process equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all operations.
• Contribute to a continuous improvement culture within the World Class framework such as 8Ds, Production Management Routines (PMRs), etc.

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and/or electrical education or equivalent training/apprenticeship.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in chemical processes (or) electronics manufacturing.
• Proven experience with repair and preventative maintenance work on Program Logic Control (PLC) machines in a production facility.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.

• Experience with HMIs and LabView is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred.
