Job Description:
- We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process and Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team.
- In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our production processes and equipment.
- As a Process and Equipment Technician, you will apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize various machinery and systems essential for our operations.
- You will collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and safely.
- Your hands-on experience with process equipment will enable you to implement preventative maintenance strategies and respond to unexpected machine failures promptly.
- This position requires a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on all process equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all operations.
- Contribute to a continuous improvement culture within the World Class framework such as 8Ds, Production Management Routines (PMRs), etc.
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and/or electrical education or equivalent training/apprenticeship.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in chemical processes (or) electronics manufacturing.
- Proven experience with repair and preventative maintenance work on Program Logic Control (PLC) machines in a production facility.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Preferred:
- Experience with HMIs and LabView is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred.
