Work Schedule:

90% FTE, day/evening shift. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (Inpatient/Outpatient) to:



  • Build upon current knowledge base while learning the outpatient side of oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant.
  • Provide care for patients on a rotating four-week inpatient/four-week outpatient schedule.
  • Further improve targeted assessment and chemotherapy administration skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months of inpatient medical/surgical nursing experience Required
  • 2 years of relevant oncology or hematology/BMT or Gynecology oncology clinical experience Preferred
  • Ambulatory experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where practicing or may work under a compact license per state regulations Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
  • Telemetry certification Preferred
  • Chemotherapy certification Preferred
  • OCN certification Preferred
