Summary
Under direct supervision, acquires knowledge of the different functions within Pharmacy. Responsible for, but not limited to, filling medication orders, answering phones, attending staff meetings, providing support to pharmacists, maintaining the safe handling and integrity of medications. No Licenses and Credentials Pharmacy Technician [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Pharmacy Technician Trainee [Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy preferred Experience hospital-related experience, formal training, or certification from a pharmacy technician training program 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Must be able to appropriately confront issues, make decisions, and solve problems.
