Job Description Summary:

As the Microfab Operational Assistant, you will be an operationally critical player in the microfab, which develops and manufactures next-generation and application-specific sensors and devices. The microfab focuses on inertial MEMs, but also develops solutions leveraging photonics, microfluidics, novel materials and 3D integration, including interposer and wafer level packaging (WLP) concepts.

You will support the delivery of high reliability inertial MEMS sensors by responding to production needs. The job requires integration of multidisciplinary information from program management, engineering management, facilities, mission assurance, and process engineering to meet critical customers' needs.

The incumbent will help manage work-in-progress (WIP) schedule and plan, update records for compliance to production standards, update and help implement the manufacturing execution system (MES) and statistical process control (SPC) collection plans, track technical training records and generally assist in other activities to support microfab operations.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
* Answering and screening telephone calls
* Prepare reports, meeting minutes and correspondence.
* Create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
* Schedule coordination, arrange appointments and itineraries.
* Coordinate meetings, travel, conference calls, and complete expense reports
* Maintain general office supplies and order project materials
* Coordinate incoming / outgoing mail and packages
* Coordinate clearance/badge requests
* Ensure required internal paperwork/documents are maintained for audit compliance
* Coordinate internal moves and facilities rearrangement, maintenance, and custodial requests
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Place P-Card orders for various materials
* Tracking Capital expenditures (Equipment, facilities upgrades, etc.)
* Acting as timesheet proxy for department staff

Skills
* Highly proficient administrative support skills and office applications skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
* Highly proficient in all communication skills (phone, verbal and written)
* Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with poise and professionalism
* Ability to proofread and edit written documents
* Strong organizational, coordination and judgment skills

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree in a related field of Study preferred

Experience
3-5 years administrative assistant experience required

Additional Job Description:
