This position is the key driver and leader of plant safety, environmental, and quality performance.

EHS&S Responsibilities include:

• Implement and maintain the Responsible Care Management System (RC14001) and Zero Incident Culture Program.
• Monitor and maintain metrics associated with plant specific EHS scorecards.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Maintain and comply with environmental permits such as air, water, and wastewater as well as interacts with the appropriate regulatory agencies.
• Developing and maintaining all aspects of waste (classification and disposal).
• Oversee programs such as line break, management of change, hot work, confined space, hazardous energy control, DOT hazmat handling, and other associated programs.
• Facilitate all efforts regarding employee safety culture.
• Coordinate and/or conduct required safety training for all plant personnel including administration of record keeping.
• Back up the Plant Manager as Incident Commander.
• Be the focal point for any government Agencies' visits and audits.
• Adhere to all aspects of Responsible Care.

Quality Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and develop laboratory related procedures.
• Supervise all functions related to ISO 9001 certifications.
• Supervise the daily activities of the laboratory technicians.
• Manage customer complaints and coordinate with internal and external parties to address issues.
