Cox First Media , a dynamic and innovative news and digital advertising leader, seeks an experienced, results-driven Director of Sales to spearhead our growth in Dayton, Ohio.
As our Director of Sales, you will be at the forefront of helping our diverse set of local, regional, and national clients achieve their business goals. You will coach, inspire, and empower a talented team of high-performing sales professionals, driving revenue growth across our diverse market-leading news and digital services portfolio. You will use your analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with your passion for driving innovation to deliver increased revenues and capture market share. This position reports to the President and Publisher of Cox First Media and is a senior leadership team member. What You'll Do: Revenue Growth and Innovation: You will leverage your deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape to grow customer and product revenues by building compelling go-to-market plans supported by data analysis and active listening to customers and stakeholders to recognize opportunities in the marketplace and move initiatives from concept to reality. You will use your strong analytical problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication and people skills to garner internal buy-in within the organization and own all decisions required to activate local teams to execute with speed and precision. You are the change agent for business improvements, new initiatives, and processes that enable Cox First Media to develop and launch new products and business models to serve our customers better and separate us from competitors. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
