Advantage Resourcing is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Monroe, LA. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the field of finance and contribute to the success of our client's organization. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has two years of account receivable/collections experience. Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday Salary: $35,000 - $45,000/yr. Responsibilities: Process incoming payments and record transactions accurately in the accounting system. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are posted correctly. Prepare and send invoices to clients in line with contractual agreements. Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments. Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries professionally. Prepare and review aged receivables reports to track outstanding balances. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, keeping AR records updated. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Two years of experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting role. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes, and QuickBooks experience. Excellent communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team environment.
