Paralegal

We have partnered with a local law firm, and we are searching for a Paralegal in Monroe, LA who is seeking growing opportunities within a professional environment. Our client works hard providing legal services for a diversity of clients with excellence. The ideal candidate will have five years of paralegal experience, experience in real estate, estate planning, civil, probate law and tax law, and strong Excel and typing skills.

Schedule | 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Pay rate | $15 - $25/hr.

Paralegal responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and healthcare directives, while conducting legal research on tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and filing court documents for civil litigation and probate cases, coordinating with financial advisors and other professionals, managing case files, and assisting with real estate transactions. Additional duties involve preparing tax filings, tracking deadlines, and providing administrative support, including scheduling and maintaining legal calendars.
