Key Position Details:

  • Full time position (80 hours every two-week period)
  • 8-hour, day / evening / night shifts
  • Every 5th weekend rotation
  • Must obtain a 2B operating license within 16 months
  • Lawncare/snow removal
  • On-call rotation
  • Must be able to respond while on-call to hospital in 45minutes
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365

Job Description:

Maintains a safe and effective environment through maintenance, repair and operation of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical equipment. Provides preventative maintenance to prevent downtime of equipment.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Operates and maintains all systems which could include HVAC, Boilers, Generators, Electrical and Plumbing.
    • Ensures all systems are checked daily and all data is recorded.
    • Inspects and calibrates controls.
    • Performs electrical work under supervision.
    • May need to maintain, test and inspect pool and related chemicals.
    • May assist with remodeling and construction projects.
    • May perform helicopter landing duties.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment and buildings.
    • Assists with general maintenance and installation which may include painting, furniture, floor and wall covering repair.
    • Performs outside grounds maintenance which may include snow removal, salting and grooming lawn.
    • Maintains critical and non-critical equipment systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a Maintenance position or related position working with facility systems (hospital setting preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or Vocational degree Vocational or Technical Training in Engineering

Licenses/Certifications

  • Valid Driver's License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment
  • Licensed Operating/Engineer required
  • Certified Pool Operator preferred

Physical Demands
Heavy Work:
Lifting weight Up to 100 lbs. occasionally, Up to 50 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $28.67 to $39.29 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
