Location: Remote, US
Employment Type: Internship
Duration: 10 weeks (June 9, 2025 - August 15, 2025)

As a User Experience (UX) Researcher Intern, you will engage in a variety of mixed-methods customer behavior studies to explore, assess, and enhance the experiences we deliver globally. From tactical to strategic research, this role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across the customer journey. This internship provides an opportunity to assist with multiple aspects of applied B2B user research, including ResearchOps, experimental design, participant recruiting, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
You will also support Senior UX Researchers in systematizing and scaling OneStream's emerging research capabilities, contributing to key workstreams within the Digital Experience Optimization (DxO) team's multi-year roadmap.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Participate in projects spanning the full range of customer studies (e.g., market research, product and service feedback, usage, adoption, engagement, loyalty, etc.)
* Support ResearchOps to empower efficient and effective systems, templates, and tools for maximal validity and scalability
* Communicate findings and gain buy-in across all levels of project stakeholders
* Partner with other teams to incorporate research recommendations and enhanced processes throughout the OneStream product/service suite
* Continually practice an unbiased, evidence-driven approach to exploring, evaluating, and optimizing customer experiences

Required Education and Experience
* Education: Actively enrolled in an accredited university with at least 60 credits completed (minimum GPA of 3.0) or recently graduated (within the last 6-9 months). Master's and PhD students are also welcome.
* Field of Study: Psychology, Human Factors, Applied Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, or related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ethical, credible, collaborative, communicative, unbiased, and detail-oriented
* Discipline to work remotely
* Flexible and adaptable
* Willingness to learn, challenge yourself, and grow
* Effective group project collaboration
* Strong sense of task ownership and accountability
* Strong comprehension of what user experience research is and why it's important
* Basic understanding of the scientific process, experimentation, and research fundamentals
* Basic understanding of common methodologies such as surveys, in-depth interviews, behavioral observation, desktop research, user testing, etc.
* Comfortable working with qualitative and/or quantitative data (collection, analysis, and reporting)
* Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrated skills in clear and accurate writing
* Basic visual design of documents, presentations, spreadsheets, various work products
* Tactful peer review (giving and receiving)* Willingness to learn, challenge yourself, and grow
* Effective group project collaboration
* Strong sense of task ownership and accountability
* Strong comprehension of what user experience research is and why it's important
