GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Full Stack .NET software development to enhance and maintain ATG's suite of software products. To be successful, a Software Developer must understand the basic principles of the business functions supported by software managed by the team. Develop and self-test code per design provide by project lead.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop software following corporate standards under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Web services written in .Net.
  • Client side written using Angular framework or MVC (JavaScript, HTML, and CSS).
  • Test developed software prior to releasing to QA team.
• Independently write complex transact SQL statements.
• Complete projects within time estimates with minimal returned work.
• Keep supervisor informed on progress of projects.
• Seek information to update technical skills and business knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned by company management.

DEVELOPMENT SKILLS:

• Understand software development requirement documents.
• Independently make changes to existing complicated transaction screens to service new requirements documented while ensuring all previous business rules continue to be enforced.
• Expertise in Visual Studio IDE, as well as GIT and Azure Dev Ops
• Deep experience with relational database concepts and expertise in TSQL.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No supervisory responsibilities, does have responsibility to mentor junior developers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college with a major in Computer Science, plus three years' experience in software development post college graduation.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Able to follow instructions and assist with all department activities.
• Able to learn and gain an understanding of company packaged software.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Ability to travel on business as required.
