Clinic Assistant

This position will work at our Chanhassen and Excelsior clinics.

Purpose of Job

This casual position is responsible for providing support to the clinical team, providers and patients to delivery timely, quality health care services.

Job Functions

1. Cleans, prepares, organizes and re-stocks clinical areas and maintains supplies
2. Ensures proper maintenance for equipment and prepares instruments for sterilization
3. Rooms patient and performs patient care task such as height, weight, blood pressure, vision and hearing screenings and forms and paperwork
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be 18 years old with education/experience needed to meet the required principal competencies.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions

• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above

• Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Officer applications

• Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations

• Ability to work autonomously and as a team

License/Certification

BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Compensation

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
